History: Richard Alexander was the son of Greek merchants, both of whom supposedly died while on a business trip, leaving the boy without anyone to care for him at a young age. Unwilling to go into the foster care system, the boy fled and made a living on the streets for a year or two. Those two years toughened him up some, as it is a harsh life, and street gangs ruled at night. He never joined a gang, nor did he start one, preferring to be alone. Fights were inevitable, and while he didnt turn down a fight if he thought he had a chance, he would always inflict more damage on those that started it with him than he would receive, proportionally. It made him lean, quick, and strong, with astonishing reflexes and strength for his form and his age as well as giving him a reputation for being tough.
At age seven, when attempting to pick the pocket of an older looking man, he found himself thrown on the ground before he could blink. It was his introduction to the traveling Master known as Phillip Hyrkas. Richard, not harmed, came up swinging, and was quickly put onto the ground again. Every time Richard attempted to attack, he was knocked down.
And then Richard turned the tables. After three failed attempts, Richard instinctively caught the Master, and threw him down instead, surprising the older man greatly. Richard was unable to follow up his success as he was swept and put into an arm bar before he could go any further.
It was at that moment that his life would change, as Master Hyrkas offered him an apprenticeship to learn to hone his skills. Richard was dubious, but, intensely curious as to how the man fought and won so easily, accepted. So began a long period of training, becoming more stronger and focused. Those who fought against him, called him The Hammer. They trained in mountains, cities, plains, everywhere in Greece. He grew powerful and quite skilled, capable of taking on many, and dominating any fight he went into, that wasnt against the Master at least. His confidence grew with him, and some likened him to the ancient warrior, Alexander the Great, which prompted him to drop his first name to further that comparison. Alexanders ambitions though were to further his skills, and become a master in his own right, defeating anyone and everyone. As the years passed, Alexander saw Master Hyrkas as a father figure; although, that was soon to be proven to not be reciprocated.
At age 20, as he returned to the shared home after a fight, he came upon his Master with a young girl; Cersi. The Master had taken on a new apprentice with no explanation given.
Alexander didnt mind, at first. The Master trained many, and none had stayed as long as he had. Nor kept the Masters attention for as long. Yet as time passed and Cersis obvious talent and drive grew with her body and skills, Alexander saw Cersi as a rival for the Masters attentions and grew jealous of him spending more time with her. He challenged her often, and they fought often, with The Hammer winning many times.
At age 14, she beat him soundly, destroying his confidence, and then his world as the Master sent him out. He did not realize that he was a fair part of Cersis improvement. Alexander was told he had learned all he could, but he felt the sting of rejection powerfully, and the burning jealousy of Cersi grew. He redoubled his training, and traveled the world to further his abilities. His drive was as great as his focus, and he would return every other year to challenge her. He beat her at 16, but then lost to her again at age 20; yet, not by much.
Alexander was now 35, and Cersi was 22. The time for their rematch was approaching, and while he disliked Cersi with much of his soul, he admitted to himself he relished the challenge of fighting a worthy opponent such as she, and felt ready to regain his title as the Masters favored. By utterly crushing her.
