Apparently you guys don't like to talk about your pickup lines...nobody wants to tell.

Anyways, I've had this idea in the making for a long while now, and wanna see if there would be people who would volunteer for this or be up for it. But the idea is to have a Traveling Sketchbook, a page per person, drawing whatever they want, and the book gets sent to each person on the list, one at a time.

Example: I get said book and send it to Artist A. Artist A draws whatever he/she wants, and then sends it to Artist B, and so on down the line until it returns to the original sender.

Now, what I'm curious to find out, is if there's enough people who are willing to volunteer their time to fill in a page of this book and send it on the way.

There's some other thoughts I'm having on the matter, but I'd like to see if anyone is willing to put their hand up and say "Send it to me!" or something like that now.

The Art Jam idea is still percolating, but there's been a couple other folks suddenly start up their own Jams, so I'm going to wait a little bit on it before starting up my own.

Been awhile now, and while I have stuff I could update ya about, I'm not gunna. Not right now anyways. Want to wait and see what develops first.

So in the meantime I have a couple questions for you all. First is based off the results of my previous poll, where I asked which female character of mine you think is cooler/like the best and why. [link]

Overwhelmingly, it was Tankette, much to my surprise. So that leads to the first question. I was wondering, if I held an art jam where artists drew their characters interacting with Tankette in any way, would you be up for that?

Second question is more for grins and giggles, and both guys and gals can play along. What is the worst pickup line(s) you have used, and the worst you have heard used against you?

I state for the record that I loved both the Star Trek film and Terminator: Salvation. I really like how both were done, with respect to what came before while tying things together.

No reviews beyond that other than...I'd like to see Star Trek again. So bad. >.<

...it might be a deathtrap in disguise.

You ever have one of those weird dreams that sticks to your memory even hours after you woke up? I have one of those, hence the title.

See, I'm not exactly sure as to the beginning part of the dream, but at some point, I'm traveling through this library...and the shelves kept on shifting around, moving and changing the aisles on me, and the people who were following me (told ya I'm not sure how this thing started).

Now as this dream went on, I came across this security guard who was also the owner of the place (man loves his library I guess) and we step outside the place, with him explaining that it was his library and he designed it and all that. I told him it was a cool idea, but as it was it wouldn't stop the books from burning up if they caught fire. So he asked me what did I have in mind.

I told him that what he needed was a bigger place, the size of Busch Stadium, so that in case a fire breaks out the shelves and such could be retracted down into a safe box type deal underneath the floors, hence why you needed the place to be big. Sounded good so far.

Course this doesn't take into account what happens if some poor kid gets sucked into the shelves as they drop down. Nor did it take into account my mind picturing these shelves looking like ferris wheels (or alternatively a combine harvester's wheat head) so people could just pull the shelves down and rotating to the next shelf to find the book they wanted.

I'm tellin ya, this thing, while sounds kinda cool, is likely a death trap. I don't recommend hiring me to do the design work. @_@

So yea, that's my funny story of the day.

The show will start around 6 pm, run a couple hours or so. As a side note, if anyone wants to see how I prep an image for flats, feel free to ask and I'll give you a quick rundown in the show or at a time that works out for myself and for you.
